Born in Melbourne, Andrew has lived in New York for more than two decades. At the time he wrote these contributions, he was Carnegie Hall's Director, Festivals and Special Projects. As a composer and nowadays a director of Symphony Space, Manhattan, he has a unique perspective on the arts scene in the city.
