Warmest congratulations to those listed below on your award of Australian Honours. Your contributions to Australian musical life are of great value and now are recognised by the nation.

The mailing addresses of most awardees are included in the listing. Readers are encouraged to send their personal congratulations.

The list is by far the smallest that we can remember. There are two possibilities: that there were few nominations or that music nominees were not recognised. Citizens can make nominations and The Music Trust urges readers to take things into their own hands. The Music Trust itself is making two sets of nominations each year.
